‘Sink’ to vie at Globe Silent filmfest

Iranian animation ‘Sink’ is slated to vie at the Globe International Silent Film Festival.

The animation directed by Mahboubeh Kalaei will be screened at the competition section of the 5th edition of the event.

A lineup of 47 films out of 356 received works has been selected by the selection committee of the festival.

Globe International Silent Film Festival is an annual cinematic event that focuses on image and non-verbal cinema.

Each year a reputable university or academic environment is set to be hosting the festival which showcases and judges films from active filmmakers in the field.

The date of the festival may vary from February to April based on the venue it takes place at.
